How It Began
Hampton Corporate Suites is in its 20th year of providing furnished housing to the greater St. Louis area and expanded in 2000 to offer nationwide furnished housing.
Founder and President, Brenda Hampton, used her property management experience to develop a vision for temporary suites in St. Louis. Recognizing an unfulfilled need for people transitioning to the area for consulting, health care treatments and seasonal work, she turned her vision into a successful enterprise.
Hampton Corporate Suites provides a comfortable and affordable alternative to lengthy hotel stays by placing individuals in quality furnished apartments. Utilizing leased units, they are fully equipped with utilities, furniture, appliances, housewares and accessories. Hampton created a specific niche in the housing market by coordinating every detail of making the apartment move-in ready, right down to the color of the linens.
What began as a one-woman operation out of her home steadily grew into its current 3,000 square foot office and warehouse space. Hampton and her nine-member staff are dedicated to the values she built her business on: "Simply Superior Service."
Through years of persistence and a keen business strategy, Hampton has insured profitability by successfully riding out economic downturns. She has gained local recognition and achieved certification as a Women's Business Enterprise. A mere 22 corporate housing companies hold this honor nationwide.
As a minority business owner, Hampton sees her success as success for St. Louis. Since the beginning, she has given back to the community by donating to various charities on a regular basis. She provides thousands of dollars worth of gently used houseware items to local charities such as Our Little Haven, San Francisco Temple and the Salvation Army, each year.
Hampton enjoys the success of knowing she provides temporary housing for some of the most prominent corporations: "To have started so small and watched it grow to that level feels like a dream come true."
